Immigrants,
LGBTQI+ folk,
BIPOC communities,
and marginalized groups are at the heart of my
wellness work.
“There’s no liberation without
actually leaning forward and
looking at the things that we habitually run away from,
in order to see things as they really are,
not as we have imagined them”
Lama Rod Owens

Welcome, My Name is Johana Marmolejo Mora (she/her/ella)
I am a Queer, Latina, Immigrant Woman, who is ICF-certified coach with certifications in evidence-based practices from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Integrative Somatics Parts Work based on Internal Family Systems (IFS). Have been a guiding presence for transitional aged youth, women, LGBTQ+ folks, immigrants, Bipoc folks and marginalized groups for 10 years.
My approach to healing is deeply shaped by my own journey of struggle and engaging in deep work with belonging, identity, and self-acceptance. Experiences that cultivated empathy and commitment to supporting others in their growth and healing.
My goal is to empower you to live authentic, purpose-driven lives with resilience and grace. I do this by supporting you to be in present, authentic, harmonious and compassionate relationship with challenging people/situations/changes and challenging internal parts such as inner critics, impostors, angry parts, overwhelmed parts, that we usually run away, push away or argue with. By strengthening this connection, I support you in integrating mind and body, cultivating a deeper sense of wholeness and self-compassion.
This relationship is key to THRIVING.
No longer a bystander, you will be able to consistently be in the driver's seat with ease. Becoming an active and thoughtful participant in your life.
A space to bring all of you, to show all of your colors!
As you welcome me into your life journey, as your guide, I will create a safe space by showing up with empathy, love, joy, and non-judgement. You will be heard, seen, validated and supported for who you are in and of your cultural, social, and spiritual context.
No matter what you bring in the session, I see your complete goodness, always.
You are in the driver’s seat, and I will support you with evidence based tools, so other distracting passengers, such as, unhelpful thoughts or overwhelming feelings or other drivers do not throw you off course.
Let’s take a look at where you are stuck.
Let’s transform it.
And Thrive :)
Wellness Approach
What if true healing isn’t about fixing what’s broken, but about embracing every part of yourself—even the ones you wish you could hide?
A journey of self-discovery led me to dedicate my life to understanding the mind and supporting others in their path to wholeness. I earned a BA in Psychology, became a certified and accredited coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and completed specialized training in therapeutic modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Integrative Somatics Parts Work based on Internal Family Systems (IFS) and received Shambhala teachings, all which allowed me to practice and be a guide in mindfulness and acceptance practices.
With over a decade of experience working with clients, I have learned that the path to true liberation is not about eliminating suffering, but about developing a deep, compassionate, and authentic relationship with every part of ourselves. We all have different parts inside us—some protect us, while others carry pain. But at our core, we have a strong and wise Self that can never be broken and knows how to heal. Connecting with your wise Self so from there you can understand and heal these parts. Through this work, for example, instead of blowing up, I will be able to trace the trajectory of my feelings and emotional history with clarity and understanding. Extreme emotions and impulses calming down, feeling safer lighter, freer, more open and playful.
It is a way to live life with more confidence, calm, compassion, courage, creativity, clarity, curiosity, and connectedness
